SquadHub Terms and Conditions of Use
Last Updated: October 11, 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to SquadHub, owned and operated by SquadHub, Inc. (“SquadHub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SquadHub platform (the “Platform”), including any related websites, applications, or services. By clicking “I Agree,” checking a box labeled “I accept,” or otherwise indicating your acceptance of these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not click “I Agree,” and do not access or use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and SquadHub, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Los Angeles, California. You should also review our Privacy Policy (squadhub.ai/privacy) (the “Privacy Policy”), which describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using the Platform, you are also accepting the terms of our Privacy Policy.
Who these Terms apply to. These Terms apply to the businesses and individuals who create a SquadHub account on squadhub.ai, where accepting these Terms is required to sign up. They also apply to everyone who uses the business apps at squadhub.pro and fso.squadhub.pro on a business’s behalf, including its staff and technicians. Each of these is a “User”. A Client or other customer of a business who only views estimates, invoices or appointment details, pays, or messages the business through the customer dashboard (cd.squadhub.pro) is not asked to accept these Terms and is not a User. That customer’s relationship with the business is governed by the business’s own terms. SquadHub’s handling of the customer’s information is described in the Privacy Policy. Each business is responsible for its own terms with its customers.
If you have any questions regarding these Terms, please contact us at:
2. Definitions
- “PMCs”: Property Management Companies that use the Platform to post and manage maintenance jobs. A PMC may also act as a Main Contractor.
- “PROs”: Property Maintenance Companies that use the Platform to receive maintenance jobs from PMCs or from other PROs, and/or manage their own clients.
- “Contractor”: Any PMC or PRO that performs, manages, or assigns maintenance work through the Platform, whether as a Main Contractor or as a Subcontractor.
- “Main Contractor”: The Contractor that owns a job on the Platform and bills the Client for it.
- “Subcontractor”: A Contractor that is assigned work by another Contractor through the Platform. Work may be assigned up to three levels deep: Main Contractor → Subcontractor → that Subcontractor’s own Subcontractor.
- “Client”: The customer (for example, a property owner, tenant, homeowners’ association, or PMC) for whom a Main Contractor performs a job and to whom it issues estimates and invoices.
- “Job”: A maintenance task posted by or assigned from a PMC or a Contractor and accepted by another Contractor via the Platform, or a task a Contractor manages on the Platform for its own Client.
- “Assigned Job”: Any Job, or part of a Job (a service request), that one User assigns to a Contractor through the Platform’s Hub and that the Contractor accepts.
- “Hub Work” and “Direct Work”: As defined in Section 5.3.
- “Hub Labor”: The labor a Contractor itself performs on Hub Work, as described in Section 5.3.
- “Commission”: The fee SquadHub charges a Contractor on its own Hub Labor, as described in Section 5.3.
- “Stripe”: The third-party payment processor integrated with SquadHub to handle payment transactions.
- “Self-Onboarding”: The process by which a PRO creates and configures its account, including service categories, zip codes, and default invoice or estimate terms.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Account Creation
- PMCs: May register at no cost to post Jobs and manage work orders.
- PROs:
- Must create an account, link a valid Stripe account, and complete the Self-Onboarding process.
- Any PMC that receives payments through the Platform must also link a valid Stripe account.
Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported to SquadHub immediately.
- SquadHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that it reasonably believes to be compromised, in violation of these Terms, or otherwise misused.
4. User Roles and Responsibilities
PMCs
- Post accurate job descriptions, timelines, and requirements.
- Communicate with PROs about job details, status updates, and approvals.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to property management, including building codes and licensing.
PROs
- Self-Onboarding Defaults: During account creation, SquadHub may pre-populate or suggest default settings (e.g., invoice terms, estimate terms, service categories, zip codes). PROs are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and correcting any default or pre-populated information.
- Maintain all required licenses, permits, and adequate insurance for the services provided.
- Manage Jobs received from PMCs, from other PROs, or from your own clients (if entered on the Platform) in a professional and timely manner.
- Pay any applicable Commission and the payment processing costs allocated to you, as described in these Terms.
- Contractors are responsible for written change orders and other contract formalities the law requires (for example, California Business and Professions Code § 7159).
General User Obligations
- Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.
- Refrain from unauthorized or harmful activities, such as reverse engineering, data scraping, or posting unlawful content.
5. Platform Usage
Free Access for PMCs
- PMCs do not pay subscription or usage fees for posting Jobs or managing job workflows. A PMC that performs Hub Work as a Contractor pays Commission on its own Hub Labor under Section 5.3.
Contractor Access
- Contractors can access the Platform at no cost. SquadHub does not currently offer paid subscription plans. See Section 13.1 regarding future paid features.
Commission on Hub Work
- Hub Work. Work is “Hub Work” for a Contractor when a service request is assigned to that Contractor through the Platform’s Hub and the Contractor accepts it. Once a Contractor has been introduced to a Client through such an assignment, that Contractor’s later work for the same Client on the Platform is also Hub Work. This continues for as long as that Contractor works for that Client on the Platform. By accepting a Hub assignment, the Contractor accepts this rule.
- Direct Work. All other work is “Direct Work”. This includes work for Clients a Contractor brings itself, and requests that arrive through a public or website request form, whether that form is SquadHub’s, a partner’s, or the Contractor’s own. No Commission applies to Direct Work. If a Contractor assigns part of a Direct Work job to another Contractor through the Hub, only the assigned Contractor’s labor on that part is Hub Work. The assigning Contractor’s own labor stays Direct Work.
- What Commission is charged on. Commission is charged only on Hub Labor, meaning the labor the Contractor itself performs on Hub Work. This includes labor added later through change orders or additional items. Bonus labor lines count as labor. Commission is charged on Hub Labor after any discount on the invoice. Commission is not charged on materials or taxes. A Contractor’s Hub Labor does not include labor performed by its own Subcontractors.
- Each party pays once, on its own labor. Each Contractor pays Commission only on its own Hub Labor, and only once. The same labor is never charged twice, and no Contractor pays Commission on another Contractor’s labor. This applies at every level (Main Contractor, Subcontractor, and a Subcontractor’s Subcontractor).
- Commission schedule. Commission is calculated separately on each Contractor’s own ticket, on the cumulative Hub Labor billed on that ticket, at the following marginal rates:
- 18% of the first $1,000 of Hub Labor;
- 12% of Hub Labor above $1,000, up to $5,000;
- 6% of Hub Labor above $5,000. The minimum Commission on the first invoice with Hub Labor on a ticket is $30. Example: $400 of Hub Labor on a new ticket carries $72 of Commission. $6,000 of Hub Labor carries $720 ($180 + $480 + $60). The same schedule applies at every level.
- Commission is charged to the Contractor. It is not added to the price the Client pays.
- Direct Work administrative fee. SquadHub may set an administrative fee for Direct Work through its platform settings. That fee is currently $0. Any change will be made under Section 13.2.
No SquadHub Transaction Fee; Payment Processing Costs
- SquadHub does not charge a per-transaction convenience or service fee on bank or card payments.
- How every payment works. Before paying, the payer is shown two dollar amounts: the amount to pay by bank (ACH) and the amount to pay by credit card. The payer picks one. Debit and prepaid cards are not accepted. The same applies to each kind of payment below.
- A Client paying an invoice or estimate. The bank amount is the invoice or estimate amount. Stripe’s bank processing fee (no more than $5 per payment) is paid by the Contractor that billed the Client, not by the Client, SquadHub or any Subcontractor. The credit card amount includes the card processing cost, which the Client pays by choosing card.
- A Contractor paying another Contractor. The paying Contractor pays the processing cost of the method it chooses. The receiving Contractor receives the full amount paid.
- A Contractor paying SquadHub its Commission. The Contractor pays the processing cost of the method it chooses. SquadHub receives the full Commission.
Job Matching and Categories
- When a PMC (or a PRO) assigns a Job, only PROs whose listed zip codes and selected categories/subcategories match the Job will appear for selection.
- SquadHub does not guarantee a specific number or frequency of Jobs to any PRO.
Disclaimer on Defaults
- SquadHub provides default or suggested invoice/estimate terms, service categories, and zip codes as a convenience only. PROs must verify and update these settings as necessary. SquadHub disclaims any liability if a PRO fails to correct inaccuracies.
6. Payment Terms and Stripe Integration
Stripe Payment Processing
- Payments made through the Platform are processed via Stripe. Contractors must have a valid, active Stripe account to receive payouts.
Collection of Fees
- Commission is collected in one of two ways:
- deducted from the Contractor’s share when a Client payment made through the Platform is settled; or
- where it has not been deducted (for example, when the Client paid the Contractor early, or the Contractor recorded a payment made outside the Platform), paid by the Contractor through the Platform.
- Commission may not be paid by check, cash, or any other means outside the Platform. The Platform refuses offline settlement of Commission. Only a SquadHub super-administrator may record an exceptional payment made outside the Platform, and must record the reason.
Payouts and Schedules
- Disbursement: After any Commission deduction, and the bank processing fee where Section 5.4 assigns it to the Contractor, remaining funds are disbursed to the Contractor’s Stripe account per Stripe’s payout schedule. Each Subcontractor receives its share of the settlement, less Commission on its own Hub Labor.
- Transaction Fees: Payment processing costs are allocated as described in Section 5.4. Stripe may also charge fees under its own terms, separate from SquadHub’s fees.
Disputes, Refunds, and Chargebacks
- Payment disputes, refunds, or chargebacks are subject to SquadHub’s internal dispute resolution process and Stripe’s policies.
- SquadHub is not liable for any losses resulting from chargebacks or failed transactions outside its reasonable control.
Overdue Commission and Hub Assignment
- If a Contractor’s oldest unpaid Commission has been outstanding for 30 days, the Contractor cannot be assigned new Hub Work until that Commission is paid. SquadHub may set a different number of days for an individual Contractor, and will tell the Contractor in the app before changing it.
- There is no dollar limit. The amount owed does not, by itself, restrict the Contractor.
- Otherwise, the Contractor keeps full use of the Platform, including its tickets, invoices, its own Clients, and paying and being paid.
- The restriction lifts automatically when the Commission is paid.
- The Platform shows the Contractor what it owes, since when, and the date after which it can no longer be assigned Hub Work.
Late Payments or Non-Payment
- Separately from Section 6.5, SquadHub may suspend a Contractor’s access to the Platform, for example for non-payment of Commission. A suspension is a decision made by SquadHub personnel, never an automatic one. SquadHub will record the reason, tell the suspended Contractor the reason, and may lift the suspension. A suspended Contractor can still sign in to pay amounts it owes. SquadHub may also terminate the account under Section 11. The Contractor remains liable for any outstanding amounts.
7. Dispute Resolution Between PMCs and PROs (Including PRO-to-PRO)
Internal Resolution
- Whether a Job is PMC-to-PRO or PRO-to-PRO (including between a Subcontractor and its own Subcontractor), the relevant parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution of any job-related issues (performance, invoicing, etc.) through SquadHub’s internal channels.
Quality of Work
- SquadHub is a marketplace and does not perform maintenance services. SquadHub is not responsible for the quality or outcome of any Job.
Escalation
- If unresolved, parties may seek mediation, arbitration, or other legal remedies.
- SquadHub may, at its discretion, provide job logs, communication records, or other relevant documentation to assist in dispute resolution.
8. SquadHub’s Liability and Disclaimers
Platform “As Is”
- The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SquadHub disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
- Indirect Damages: SquadHub is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
- Cap on Liability: In no event shall SquadHub’s total liability exceed the greater of (a) the total Commission paid by the complaining party in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100.
Independent Contractors
- Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, franchise, or employment relationship between SquadHub and any User. PMCs and PROs are independent contractors.
Disclaimer on Self-Onboarding Defaults

- SquadHub will not sell Business Customer Data or use it to market to your customers. SquadHub will help you respond to your customers’ privacy requests that relate to the Platform.

The Platform’s automated recording announcement names your business.
Tenant-Screening Tools
- If a PMC uses the Platform’s tenant-screening tools, the following apply. SquadHub provides software for recording rental applications and the PMC’s screening results. SquadHub does not obtain consumer reports or run credit, criminal-history or eviction checks, and does not make or recommend rental decisions.
- The PMC is solely responsible for:
- having a permissible purpose for any consumer report or background information it obtains and enters;
- giving applicants every notice the law requires, and getting their consent, before screening them, and giving adverse-action notices;
- complying with fair-housing laws, including California’s limits on using criminal history; and

Assignment
- You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from SquadHub. We may freely assign these Terms at our discretion.
Survival
- Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., payment obligations, limitation of liability, arbitration) will remain in effect after termination.
